This camera mount adapter lets every band with a video camera and mic stand create professional videos of their live performances! Attach this innovative Musicians Gear adapter to any 5/8" 27-threaded mic stand or boom arm to support a video camera or digital recorder with standard 1/4" threaded female inserts. Can also be used for conferences and presentation recording, school plays or concert recording or even as a classroom projector mount. The adapter's ball-head allows for independent pan and tilt with 360 degree pan movement and 180 degree tilt.

    The main screw had an imperfection - would not close completely. I ordered another one. My last one worked great - but the wife is using it now, which is why I am a little disappointed with my adapter. Anyways, waiting on a new one. If this one sucks, I will definitely let everyone know what I think about it. Let's pray it's defect free.

    If you have a mic stand and don't have a need for a dedicated tripod, this will do the job! It small and made out of metal, which is sturdy enough to do a very good job.

    I needed this adapter to mount my 'TASCAM DR-07MKII Handheld Digital Recorder' (#H72438)on an 'Ultimate Support JamStands Low Profile Mic Stand With Fixed Boom' (#H74102) Works perfectly. Very solid construction. Should last a lifetime. If your stands have the standard 5/8"-27 thread mount,this adapter is what you need. Highly recommend.
