Musician's Gear CG-020-B Deluxe Bass Case Tweed

The reason why I give this 4 stars because there are better cases that can take a bigger hits. However as one who just playes for my church which is 3 blocks away. I don't feel I need something heavy duty like a giging musician who is playing at different locations in different environments. I know every Sunday I play on a carpeted floor. Because it's not a heavy duty case it's lighter and thinner easier to maneuver around with as well. So yes I would recommend this to one who does not do much much traveling with their bass. My guess for professional or if you goal is to be professional and you see that happing sonner than later this is probably not the case for you. For your hobby player especially if you got little ones in your house be your kids or little brother who may want to play with your gear the key works great for that. People who say you never need the key never delt with little kids or have a room that they can secure is off limits to them.

This has been the nicest case I've gotten so far. Seems to be well built.

Granted, I live close to the ocean, but this case continually gets moldy. I've deep cleaned it a few times and I'm realizing the material of the exterior is kind of a mold magnet. Worse is the once mold grows on the outside, it get inside the interior too. I'm going to opt for an ABS plastic case instead, as this one is going to the trash.
