Great Value for a Great Product
Ordered these (pair) online not exactly knowing what I would receive. Upon arrival and opening the package, the quality of the item was far more superior than I was expecting. This has been true for most items from GC.

Poor quality!
Very poor quality. The clamps are made of plastic and when clamped completely, they still don't grip the tubing at all. I bought this for use with lights, if I had planned to use it to actually hold a speaker, I would have sent it back. If you need cheap stands, look into the Rockville brand, they cost less and the clamping areas are actually made from metal and clamp solid without any effort.

I find them to be very sturdy and worth the money for what I'm using them for. Of course, I'm only using my pair to support two Everse 8, so I'm really nowhere near their weight limit capacity. But I want you to know that for full disclosure purposes.
Adapted to a 9- foot stage light stand

Added a wooden closet hanger rod (fit perfectly inside) drilled a few extra pin holes, added some clamp-on horizontal bars, and made a sturdy 9-foot stage light stand. About 1/2 the cost of a pre-made comparable one. This product made a great base!!
Solid but not perfect

Wanted to get my Simmons drum amplifier up off the floor It has no trouble handling the weight but it is difficult to adjust once it has weight on it.
Loving this system!

We have a lot of events here at Long Beach City College Foundation. Often times the places we go do not have quality sound systems. If sound is coming from the ceiling it usually is not what's needed. These speakers are amazing for the price. They project well. They have blue tooth. My wireless mics sounded amazing through these speakers. The stands are super steady as well. Music sounds exceptional through them as well.

How sturdy are the stands in windy conditions? Would I need something to weigh them down on concrete or grass settings?
I’m sorry, I don’t know. I would advise it if there is a doubt.submitted3 years ago
