Bench leg is bowed causing rocking
submitted2 years ago

I purchased this set to go with a Yamaha keyboard for our daughter's birthday. The stand is great, but the bench is awful. The steel legs are bowed and it sits unevenly. I purchased this early to make sure I had it for her birthday, and now I'm past the 30 day return window. Disappointed in the poor quality and money wasted for something we won't be able to use.
Bad for medium or shorter sized people

The bench is too tall. I'm 5' 7" and at the lowest height, the bench is just barely too tall for playing piano with my feet comfortably rested flat on the ground. Also the rubber protectors of the bench legs slide off the ends of the metal very easily so if you move the bench even slightly, you'll have rubber pieces rolling around on the floor.
All Good.

Will this keyboard stand be compatible with the Yamaha PSR-EW310? I'm looking for something sturdy, yet economical. Would the On-Stage KS8191XX Double-X Bullet Nose Keyboard Stand be sturdier and a better made option? Thanks!
