Worth the money

We work only four or five nights a month, but still go through cables regularly. These cables might not work exceptionally well in studio, but for a stage gig they get the job done nicely. The cables, while not the stoutest on the market, serve our purposes well and, for the price you can't get a better bargain.

Connectors not fit

The connectors on these cables are not the standardized size. They fit so tight into the mixer that they broke 3 of the 4 mixer inputs when I tried to remove them. I have since learned that only Switchcraft and Neutrik connectors are guaranteed to fit.

I can't believe you can sell me this for so little.. they are only for home practice so I'm not so worried about studio or gig quality.. I'm very happy with this purchase.

  • Male XLR pins off center, can't plug cables in.

Snagged these on one of GC's "Daily Picks", as an aspiring producer putting together my home studio I usually love these kinds of deals. However, upon attempting to plug in the male end of one of the cables into my audio interface, I discovered that the three pins on the cable were so far offset to the left in the housing that it was impossible to plug into the interface, thus rendering the cable useless. I looked at the other 3 cables and only one of them had the pins centered. One of the others was straight enough to where I could force it into the interface, but fear of damaging the input will keep me from doing that again. So essentially I paid for 4 cables and got one. Kinda annoyed.
