Does what a mic stand should!

Needed a replacement stand for my studio mics- I had a cheaper stand that came apart during a session. I had already purchased a K&M boom arm from an *auction site*, so I only needed a stand. This works great... and I can pack it away when I'm done.

Last purchase ever from MF

Originally ordered a musicians friend brand boom mic stand. Threads where stripped out of the box, MF sent be a replacement and this is what I get, a strait stand (no boom). This strait stand sits at a 10 degree angle when the feet are flat on the ground, I had to bend the stand to make it look half way decent. I'm done with MF this time...The MF gear is cheap and designed to last less then 1 year.

Purchased a couple of these several years ago and they're still holding up well, despite the plastic base and height adjust clutch. Better design and quality compared to similarly-priced stands I've seen around lately. Tip: for longer life, lubricate the height adjust clutch threads with some light grease (fishing reel grease is great)

I play Harp (harmonica) with our church's worship band on occasion, so there is a demand for mic stands, and this one will be used to hold up my new speaker/Monitor. It seems quite sturdy and easy to manipulate. My friend Greg H, who is a professional musician on our team, referred your company to me. I'm looking forward to testing everything out on our next live worship event! :-)

  • Sturdy and light weight

This mic stand is pretty sturdy, but amazingly light weight. I've mounted wireless mics, corded mics, an 11 inch tablet and extension boom, and a microphone holder rack, and no problems so far. I also have heavy base type mic stands that are made of the same material. The tripod stands are as stable or even slightly more stable than the heavy base ones. Only time will tell if they will remain durable with continued use.

The mic clip would need to be purchased separately.
