The Impact LX-49 USB MIDI controller delivers performance way above its class. With velocity-sensitive pads, rubberized fader caps and a low-profile design, it feels, looks, performs to professional expectations, and is supported the way your performance deserves. Integration with popular DAWs makes it easy to set up.

KEYBOARD
This 49-note velocity-sensitive keyboard features synth action with medium tension. The piano-style keys are covered to protect against dust while complementing the design. With 4 velocity curves increasing in dynamics, any playing style can be accommodated. Octave and transpose buttons, as well as pitch bend and modulation wheels are within reach, so you can shift the keyboard up or down as needed, or apply articulation with the wheels.

OCTAVE & TRANSPOSE BUTTONS
There is more to the 4 Octave & Transpose buttons than meets the eye. 4 functions are selectable on the fly so you can make important changes at any time, even while you play. A key combination makes assignment quick and easy. Choices include sending out MIDI Program Messages, change the Global MIDI Channel or select any of Impact LX's 5 user presets with either the Octave or Transpose buttons.

PAD ASSIGN
Each pad can be assigned any MIDI note number or MIDI cc message, for use as MIDI trigger or toggle buttons. The Pad Learn feature allows you to just select a pad, play the note or drum sound you want, and assignment is done. Assignments are stored over power cycling so you don't lose your settings when you switch your system off.

DAW CONTROL
Impact LX49 software integration supports most popular DAWs. A common workflow gives access to many of the functions you are most likely to need when recording and performing with your Impact LX. Impact LX DAW integration supports Cubase, Digital Performer, Garageband, Logic, Nuendo, Reaper, Reason, Sonar and Studio One. Relying on your computer screen for constant feedback, important and essential windows related to what you are controlling can be open and closed as needed, right from Impact LX49.

TRANSPORT & NAVIGATION
The 6 dedicated transport buttons are always within reach and mapped to control Cycle, Rewind, Forward, Stop, Play and Record. Press Shift to get access to alternate functions such as Goto L, Set L, Set R, Undo, Click and Mode*. Additional alternate DAW functions include Track up/down and Patch up/down to change your instrument patches are available via the display buttons.

No other entry-level DAW is this easy to use, yet offers unlimited tracks and plug-in instantiations, extensive use of drag-and-drop, and in-depth editing features. Additionally, Bitwig 8-Track is included with the Impact LX USB keyboard.

This device exceeds my expectations, I just wanted a keyboard for input as a MIDI device, but it happens to have tremendous controls on my recording software Logic Pro. This is amazing.

It will work. the only problem may be if it's FL studio 20. the newer version may not work with your operating system, but that would be a FL studio issue and not anything with the midi controller.

Has anyone used this keyboard with Ableton Live? It looks like it's got high quality keys but doesn't say it plays well with Ableton out of the box. Seems like a quality piece of gear though...

This can be used with Ableton Live but you may have to MIDI map or configure the Preferences to work. A similar keyboard that is designed to work with Ableton is the Novation Impulse 49.
