Description
The Novation FLkey 37 MIDI keyboard controller provides FL Studio users the ultimate hands-on music production experience. This full-size keyboard's controls map directly to FL Studio's Sequencer, Channel Rack and Mixer for seamless DAW integration that lets you immerse yourself in the creative process. The FLkey 37's 37 velocity-sensitive keys and 16 pads capture your performance nuances, while eight assignable knobs enable intuitive editing. Scale Mode and Chord Mode simplify playing complex chords and melodies, unleashing your creativity. Direct access to FL Studio presets reduces screen time, allowing you to quickly switch between instruments for maximum musical expression.
Sequencer and Pad Modes for Fast Beat Programming
The FLkey 37's pads map to FL Studio's step sequencer, enabling you to program beats with speed and precision. Two Pad Modes—Channel Rack and FPC—give your rhythms a human feel by allowing you to play off the grid. The Note Repeat feature simplifies programming hi-hat rolls and other rapid-fire note progressions.
Mixer and Plug-in Controls at Your Fingertips
The FLkey 37's eight assignable knobs provide hands-on control of FL Studio's Mixer and Channel Rack. Adjust track volumes, pans, and automation in real time without touching your mouse. Browse and load presets for Image Line plug-ins to instantly change instruments and sounds. Essential transport controls including Undo, Redo, Quantize, and Metronome are also accessible with the press of a button.
Scale Mode and Chord Mode Unlock Creativity
The FLkey 37's Scale Mode ensures you always play in key, enabling you to improvise melodies without hesitation. Three Chord Modes allow you to play a variety of chords with a single finger press, opening up new harmonic possibilities. Combined with the keyboard's seamless FL Studio integration, these musical tools unlock boundless creative potential.
Includes FL Studio Producer Trial
The FLkey 37 comes with a six-month trial of FL Studio Producer, Image Line's full-featured DAW. Partnership with GForce brings a comprehensive, 4-in-1 bundle of some of the most renowned synths in history. This bundle includes an enhanced emulation of our iconic Bass Station, as well as the Oberheim SEM, Oberheim OB-EZ, and GForce AXXESS synthesisers. Didn't get a chance to use it. The product constantly crashed my computer. When it did load it was not reading on Fl Studio itself (yes I have the updated version and I have updated my computer.) Also, Novation dont take customer service calls during the hours that are posted online.

how easy is it to set up and mapping to get the full use of the controller
I’m sorry, I don’t know. I don't imagine it's any easier than any midi unit. In my experience, it's very complex.submitted3 years ago

What's the difference between this and the launch key they look awfully similar in design and features besides an arp.
They are similar but this is designed specifically to work with FL studio.
