Novation's Launchkey is their intuitive and fully integrated MIDI keyboard controller for making tracks in Ableton Live and with your external equipment. The Launchkey experience is designed for players of all types and abilities. With the Launchkey 37 [MK3], regardless of experience, you can create and play your music like never before. With its various musical creation features, all of which can be used standalone, Launchkey 37 [MK3] removes barriers to creativity, and expands the musical vocabulary of even the most talented keyboardists.

Eight Scale modes guide you into new musical territory, by transposing keys played to notes in the scale selected. Simply choose your root note and your preferred scale, then play. Three Chord modes transform the keys and pads into an interactive surface of musical exploration, where every note played is tonally and harmonically linked. The arpeggiator lets you explore new melodies and find ideas quickly, while the mutate function reconstructs your patterns into exciting new forms.

Custom Modes simplify the relationship between controller and software, with more power in your hands. Programmable using the Novation Components browser-based tool, Custom Modes let you design the behavior of your Launchkey [MK3], with control over control assignments, MIDI routing, pad color and much more.

Launchkey 37 [MK3] is equipped with a full-size five-pin MIDI DIN output, enabling simple connection to the universe of MIDI devices—new and old. Coupled with its immense standalone potential, Launchkey is now the centerpiece to your live or studio rig—computer or not.

The Launchkey platform has always been about flexibility, and the MK3 revision carries this mantra at its core. Larger, improved velocity-sensitive pads provide greater control over dynamics, and eight fixed rotary knobs bring your software to life at your fingertips. The integration with Ableton Live is seamless, with a dedicated button for activating the Capture MIDI function, plus track arm, quantize, click and loop controls, for flying around your Session faster than ever.

If you're not an Ableton Live user, Launchkey also has full integration with Logic and Reason, plus out-of-the-box functionality with other DAWs, including Studio One, Cubase and Pro Tools, via HUI.

Whether starting out or locked in a groove, Launchkey [MK3] is the controller keyboard to take you further on your musical journey. With a collection of software instruments, including Ableton Live 10 Lite, Spitfire Audio LABS Expressive Strings, XLN Audio Addictive Keys, Klevgrand R0Verb and DAW Cassette, AAS Session Bundle, Launchkey 37 [MK3] equips you with an amazing bundle of sounds.

Firmware v.1.1 Update

The firmware v1.1 update introduces the new Strum Mode feature to Launchkey [MK3]. Strum Mode was created as an inspirational new feature to help ignite that creative spark and add an extra dimension to melody making. Easy to use, users can hold down notes and trigger strum mode by using the mod wheel on the Launchkey [MK3]. For total sonic variation, Strum Mode can also be used alongside other arpeggiator modes on Launchkey devices.

Warranty Statement
All Novation products are built to the highest standards and should provide reliable performance for many years, subject to reasonable care, use, transportation and storage.

In the event of a Manufacturing Defect becoming evident within 12 months from date of purchase Novation undertakes that the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge if the product is returned to the authorised dealer from whom it was purchased. In these circumstances, or if you need an out-of-warranty repair to your Novation product, please contact Novation at: mickg@novationmusic.com and you will be advised of the correct return procedure.

Alternatively contact the Novation Reseller from which you purchased the product or the Novation Distributor in your country of residence or business. If you purchase a Novation product outside your country of residence or business you will not be entitled to ask your local Novation Distributor to honour this Limited Warranty, although you may request a chargeable repair.

Alternatively, the unit may be returned at your cost to the dealer you purchased the unit from so that they can organise a Warranty repair with their Novation Distributor.
This Warranty does not include cost of shipping to and from the authorised dealer from whom it was purchased. In every case it will be necessary to provide the original invoice or store receipt to accompany the defective product to the supplying dealer. This Limited Warranty is offered solely to the first purchaser of the product from an Authorised Novation Reseller (defined as a reseller which has purchased the Product directly from Novation in the UK or its Authorised Distributors outside the U.K,) and is not transferable.

This Warranty is in addition to your Statutory Rights in the country of purchase.

Please note: A Manufacturing Defect is defined as a defect in the performance of the product which may be expected from a reasonable interpretation of the published description and performance specifications as published by Novation. This does not include damage caused by post-purchase transportation, storage or careless handling, nor damage caused by misuse.

A significant proportion of products returned under Warranty (which are very few in number compared to numbers sold) are found not to exhibit any fault at all. Please check that the mains voltage is correctly set for your local supply and that your connecting cables are in good order and correctly connected.

If in doubt about the product functions please read the user guide and if necessary contact your dealer for advice before returning the product to the supplying dealer. You can also contact us for general advice.

    Amazing quality and versatile product. I take this to with me to studios, for filming videos, and at home to just jam on. One of my favorite keyboards. I actually even take it on the train to New York, very durable!

    This keyboard has full sized keys and a variety of options I have only begun to use. For me it's a midi controller for my DAW (Cubase) and I also use the midi out to drive my Reface CP. Nice layout and quality built. Fun to play!

    You can assign the keys to make those types of sounds but they won't out of the box.
