This is my very first DJ board. It is a perfect beginner board. It was so easy for me to just get started on it. Love this and will recommend it for a first timer!

Bought it and it is a great beginner product. It's great to start mixing small beats here and there I had issues connecting it to my laptop speakers but eventually I got it to work. A little unpredictable with the connection but always worked with head phones or a speaker.
Great product would absolutely recommend as a back up!

It was just what I needed and worked just fine The only setback was that it does not have an input for microphone but I guess I got the most basic model, but complimented it with a mixer, I have also purchased my speakers and cables from Guitar Center and I have been very happy with all of them
Great Entry level controller

Loving this so far. It's a great way to get my feet wet in terms of learning to spin, scratch, mix, and create mashups; however, in just a few weeks I feel like I am already outgrowing it. Small, light, and portable, and cheap enough that I don't mind if it gets dinged up too much, but I will probably upgrade in the near future. Good for: Beginners who want to stay beginners or just use as a hobby Bad for: Beginners who want to continue to grow. Had I known what I know now about controllers, I probably would have gotten something a little higher end, but this still serves its purpose and will make a solid backup when I do upgrade.
Much better than I anticipated

I haven't really touched djing in the last 15 years and I always mocked cdjs and controllers but meh its 2021 why not? Man i was wrong. I thought i would only be using it for blending tracks but I have been doing beat juggle routines and cutting and scratching. serato with a tidal account lets you take the party(whatever kind of party) anywhere on battery power if you want. The light show is pretty cool too!! Only knock is the fader bled after a few hours but i was able to blow out the debris with air and its fine now.

What small speakers are compatible to this unit
Connection Type The Party Mix II has a 1/8" (3.5 mm) TRS main output jack. To connect to speakers, you will need: Speakers with a 3.5 mm aux input, or Use a 3.5 mm TRS to dual RCA or 1/4" TS adapter to connect to professional monitors. Recommended Compact Speakers 1. Powered Computer Speakers (Budget / Casual Use) Logitech Z200 / Z407 Simple setup via 3.5mm cable Good for practicing or casual parties 2. Portable Bluetooth Speakers (With AUX input) JBL Charge 5 or Anker Soundcore Motion+ Use the 3.5mm aux input for wired connection Compact, loud, and battery-powered 3. Small Powered Monitors (For better sound quality) Mackie CR3-X or CR4-X Use 3.5mm-to-RCA cable Compact but accurate sound for DJ practice PreSonus Eris E3.5 Excellent balance and clarity Also accepts RCA or TRS input with adapter. Make sure the speakers are powered (i.e., they have their own built-in amplifier), since the controller doesn’t amplify audio. Bluetooth-only speakers without an AUX input won’t work, unless you use an external Bluetooth transmitter.submitted4 months ago
