Oasis OH-5 Plus+ Humidifier

Description
Because the Oasis Plus+ Humidifier is the same size as the original Blue Oasis and it has 50% greater humidity output, it will be necessary to refill the Oasis Plus+ more frequently than the original Blue Oasis.
If one is using a hygrometer, Oasis recommends that the Oasis Plus+ be used when the room humidity is below 25%. The original Blue Oasis should be used when the surrounding room humidity is between 25-40%. Above 40%, you don't need to use an instrument humidifier.
It is important to also to monitor the humidity inside your instrument case. Case size, design, material and other factors will impact the humidity permeability of each case. While general rules are helpful, a good hygrometer located inside the instrument case will give you the best information regarding proper humidification requirements.

Features
- You can see when Oasis is ready for refill
- Long lasting humidification
- Won't leak due to overfilling
- Two levels of leak protection
- Stabilized to Never Touch the Body of Your Instrument

It is easy to use, if you understand your instrument
Product is easy to use. Who out there is forcing this thing through your strings? It doesn't take an engineer to figure out you have to pull the strings apart with your fingers and THEN insert the thing. Easy as pie. I run medium strings on a dreadnought, so they're pretty heavy, but this is easily doable. At most, maybe they should provide a YouTube video for people who actually don't understand how to insert between strings. Don't be children!

Not impressed,
Bought this as I live in the mountains and in 20 to 25% humidity up here at 9000 ft. This did not get the humidity in my hardshell case over 31% with a brand new instrument. I added a Arion humidifier and up the humidity went to 45 then 50% ! I think the Arion is a better investment for a little cheaper and less maintenance!

This product is a must where I live. I have 10% humidity out in the Southwest. I have 6-7 on all my acoustic instruments. I replace the humigel crystals every season, and even then, the humidifiers start to leak. There are 2 models..OH-1 and OH-5. The OH-5 is for very dry climates.
I bought aeleven of them for my acoustics
