I never realized how much I missed the ergonomics of playing a double bass drum kit until I bought this pedal. This pedal allows me the ergonomics of playing my kit " straight on". The pedal is smooth, responsive, and allows me to reach the floor toms and ride cymbal easily.
Delicious feel

I am extremely pleased with this pedal, which I have been playing for a month now. I've always dreamed about the ergonomic advantages of a middle pedal, and now that I have it, the fun I derive from this this thing has exceeded my expectations. This pedal replaced my Iron Cobra Power Glide, which I used for 10 years. It has all the adjustments that one can do on the Iron Cobra. In addition, you can shift the center of the cam and choose between a power glide or a rolling glide—or anything in between—as you would with a Pearl Demon Drive. Using all these adjustments, I was able to get a very nice feel that I never got from the Iron Cobra. I love the feel so much that I am not curious to put on the direct drive conversion kit that I got from another seller. Yet. I have no complaints, but others might have an issue with the short connecting rods, which extend to only about an inch on each side. Also, the manufacturer claims that with two springs for each pedal, there is a wide range of spring tension to choose from. However, the hardest tension that one can set on these pedals can in no way match the hard tension that one can get using Tama's hard springs on the Iron Cobra.
