The On-Stage SM7312W conductor stand offers an oversized solid wood bookplate with a Rosewood finish, which will accommodate standard and sheet music that consists of multiple pages. The angle adjustment tension system makes it easy to remove it from the upper shaft. The stand also features a folding tripod base for convenient storage and travel. This stand also features a high-impact plastic leg housing, friction locking knobs, leg support straps, and non-slip rubber feet.

    Really good buy! Got this for my Son, who plays out a lot these days and kept borrowing my stand. Go figure? So I purchased it for Christmas and it came in 2 days, free S/H. He loves it! Really nice rosewood bookplate, xtra-wide. Easy set up and looks great! Highly recommend~

    I bought this stand for mostly indoor at home studio use. I sold the real nice looking solid Oak stand. You have seen them - they are really nice but not practical like this one. i.e. 1) this stand is more stable 2) this stand adjusts lower. 3) this stand can/may be used more easily for a gig if need be but the wooden platter is a little bulky and could get scratched up easy I'm thinking so limited on the types of gigs. 4) this stand is much easier to adjust.

    Can anyone tell me the thickness of the bookplate and the thickness of the lip? I'm trying to find compatible music clips that will fit around the edge since it's thicker than the typical metal stands. I see that the lip is 2" deep but need to know the thickness. Thanks!

    Does this stand go higher than 45 inches? ( Bookplate level) The Manassett stand goes to 50 inches. I am looking for a sturdy stand that goes a little higher than 45". I like the looks and features of this stand.
