Good stand
I purchased this stand because of its A frame stability but I also wanted the neck to be held to be safe. I dont feel comfortable with all the cheapie bargain stands with three small legs and rubber band neck strap. The quality is decent enough and it works well for me. Thinking about purchasing a second one.

Bottoms are not balanced and poorly machined
Bought two of these to replace some older stands from another manufacturer that did not have the neck part but only the base and legs. These older ones stood the test of time for home recording for over twenty years but now I need to buy stands for stage performance and these seemed to be perfect with the neck support and headstock lock. Unfortunately, both of these stands wobble on a level floor for the fact they are not machined correctly to be level and stable. There is a 3/4 inch difference on one and an inch difference on the other between the two legs. I could add some sort of leveling felt on them to balance them out but why bother? The rest of the build quality seems to be very good, but what about the quality control of the bottoms? The most important part of guitar stands. These will easily tip over with the slightest effort. Does anyone at the factory actually put these together to check for level before packing them in a box to ship? If they did check these, why did they let them pass inspection? Started a chat with Guitar Center but after 10 minutes of no response, I ended it and wrote this review. I will be returning these to my local store ASAP and looking for another brand, unless the salesperson there opens any additional similar On-Stage stands they have in stock and prove to me they are stable and level and worthy of being purchased.
