These speaker mounting brackets are excellent. I mounted two 12" Harbinger PA speakers on them for use in my mancave. The brackets are very substantial and I have no concerns of them not holding up up or unable to ever not be able to support the speakers. As noted, they are built to support even larger speakers and can handle deeper ones than I use. The dimensions for the speakers I mounted are 23.2" tall X 14.4" wide X 12.8" deep and weigh 25.5 lbs each. I did modify the brackets so that the speaker would set back closer to the wall out of the way. It was very easy to do; there are plastic end caps that I popped off the end of the brackets, I measured 6" in and used a porta-band saw to neatly cut and shorten the bracket, lightly rounded off the sharp metal end with a file or sandpaper and popped the end cap back on. (You could use an hacksaw if you take your time and be careful to cut it straight.) I measured in and drilled a hole in the bracket with a drill press (regular drill would work if you are careful) and threaded the plug for the speaker support mounting into the bracket. Looks like it came that way. I used lag screws to attach the brackets to the wall into wooden studs inside the wall. ( I wouldn't even think about attaching it to the bare sheetrock wall.) Located the first screw location and drilled a pilot hole into the wooden stud and screwed the lag bolt in, but not so tight that the bracket can't swing a little. Then put a magnetic level on the side of the bracket to square it up, drilled a second pilot hole, then lag bolted the bottom screw and tighten both snug. This took about 20 mins to modify the bracket and about 20 mins to install. This is an excellent bracket and rock solid. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone needing this type of mount.

JUST installed these in my studio an hour ago...I was worried when I got them out of the box, thought they were too long, but, the part that the speaker sits on can be unbolted, so I did that and drilled new holes in about 5"s and that did the trick.. My My mackie's fiT like a glove.. So they can be easily modified...Comes with all the hardware..
