As a professional Songwriter, singer, producer, With my own label, quality and ease of interfaces of the upmost importance… With that mind, I tried Six different top, audio interfaces, and in my opinion, they don't hold a candle to Apogee Symphony Desktop. Quality of sound, reliability and ease of use while we're in the creative mode is the upmost importance to keeping the vibe going for myself and my other artists. The interface is so much easier to use, the quality is top-notch . I gave extensive tryouts with UA Apollo & Volt, and Focusrite And others, Had interface issues, lack of support before, and after the sale, and frankly, the quality in interface was just not to par With the Apache symphony desktop audio interface. Even in comparison to thunderbolt products, the apogee had no latency issues and the quality is commercial studio quality. This year I produced five albums, 2023 using it. Additional thanks to Guitar center for allowing me to try all these products. They have a great tryout policy so that I could find the best possible for myself and The Music.
This interface is worth every dime!

I love this interface, I switched from using the Apollo Twin. I especially enjoy the clarity and warmth on my vocal recordings. The included plugins that come with the Symphony Desktop are top notch. I definitely recommend this interface and it's totally worth the price.

Trying to migrate from UAD twin to Apogee. The sound is good, but the plug ins are basic. You cannot use a reverb inside of the interface to monitor during recording. It is a long circuitous way, which can be done with any interface. Some features they said existed in older ensemble line like control from Logic was missing. Anyway returned and went back to getting UAD TwinX Quad. AD and DA is comparable and the ease of use and plugins are unbeatable.
I would not buy this.

The sound quality was very good but it didnt have direct monitoring with reverb. Which is critical. After several exchanges with the tech help came to know that it is coming in the next update!!! Returned it.
