Can this be connected to a stereo system through an earphone jack? If so, do I need a cable or is there a bluetooth transmitter needed? Thank you.

Yes, the Audio-Technica AT-SP65XBT Portable Bluetooth Speaker can be connected to a stereo system using a wired connection. It features a 3.5 mm (1/8") auxiliary input jack located on the back of the speaker, allowing you to connect it directly to devices with a compatible output. An audio cable with 3.5 mm stereo mini-plugs is included with the speaker, so you won't need to purchase a separate cable for this connection.
