Great Sounding Microphone

The mic ic clear as a bell. very little, if any, noise picked up from low end hum, air conditioners, cars, planes, refrigerators, etc. I bought a Cloudlifter (CL-1) with my BP40 to take the "stress" off my preamp, but might not be necessary for people who own preamps that provide gain of 75dB or higher. Also, buy GC's Livewire XLR cables because it eliminated the noise I had in my chain. I was surprised what a difference a "good" XLR cable can make.

I use the Audio Technica BP 40 for live internet-radio broadcasting, podcasting, and radio-production recording. I do not have a soundproof studio, and my proximity to a local airport, motorcycle repair shop, and what have you, makes condenser mics ineffective. This mic is well-made, durable, and of professional quality. Nice mic!
