The lightweight BD440 head-worn cardioid microphone lets you deliver clear, hands-free vocal performances without drawing attention to itself. Designed for presenters, lecturers, performers and broadcasters, the BD440 cardioid head-worn microphone captures your voice with precision while rejecting distracting ambient noise. Offering extraordinary value, the BD440 gives you flexibility, comfort and broadcast-quality sound in one convenient, concealed package.

Maintain Clarity While On the Move With an Adjustable Fit

The lightweight frame adjusts to fit all head sizes while the extendable microphone boom reaches any face shape for optimal positioning. By customizing the fit, the cardioid capsule maintains a consistent distance from your mouth to clearly capture every word you say without muffling or distortion. The boom can even be swapped for left- or right-handed use to keep the mic out of your way.

Concealed Performances With a Slim, Discreet Design

Thanks to its slim and lightweight construction, the BD440 head-worn microphone is barely noticeable to audiences. The thin, curved frame and boom sit securely around your face without drawing attention. Plus, the included windscreen adds an extra layer of stealth, concealing the capsule itself. The BD440's discreet profile delivers clear vocals without compromising your appearance.

Stay Comfortable All Day With Removable Earhooks and Shirt Clip

Even during lengthy use, the BD440 remains comfortable. The super-soft, removable earhooks gently rest on your ears without pinching or chafing. Adjust them to find the perfect angle to support the mic's weight. While the included shirt clip neatly secures excess cable to the back of your collar. Not only does it prevent the wire from dangling, but it also provides strain relief to keep the frame securely in place.

Cardioid Pickup Rejects Noise for Pristine Vocals

The BD440's cardioid pickup pattern focuses on sound coming from directly in front while suppressing ambient noise from the sides and rear. This makes it ideal for handheld use, ensuring your voice remains clear and intelligible over any PA or recording system. Whether you're presenting outdoors, singing on a loud stage or lecturing in a bustling room, the cardioid capsule isolates your vocals from distracting background sounds like traffic, instruments and chatter.

The cable is 4 feet. It is not an XLR, its a Mini 3-pin XLR and can't be connected to a mixer.
