Open Box Behringer EUROLIVE B212D Active PA Speaker System Level 1

Description
The Behringer Eurolive B212D 550W 12" powered speaker packs robust sound into an easy-to-carry enclosure. With 550W of bi-amped power driven by lightweight Class-D amplifier technology, the B212D projects your vocals, instruments, backing tracks and more with exceptional headroom and clarity. Plus, rest assured the B212D's built-in limiter protects the components from overload.
Project With Confidence Thanks to Bi-Amplified Power
Inside the trapezoidal enclosure, you'll find 550W of clean, bi-amplified power to faithfully reproduce your mixes. The B212D houses dedicated Class-D power amps for the lows (250W) and highs (65W). This bi-amped design provides focused power right where it's needed. The result is clear lows down to 45Hz, crisp highs up to 20kHz and plenty of headroom. Whether you're providing sound reinforcement for a band, acting as a floor monitor or just need a personal PA, the B212D delivers the goods.
Shape Your Sound With Onboard EQ
Tailor your tone thanks to the dedicated low- and high-frequency EQ controls. Boost or cut lows up to 15dB at 100Hz to add punch to kick drums and bass guitar, or tighten up muddy sources. And dial in just the right amount of high-end brilliance by boosting or cutting up to 15dB at 10kHz. With this intuitive two-band EQ at your fingertips, you can easily tweak the B212D's response for vocals, acoustic guitar, electronic instruments and more.
Rely on Flexible, Road-ready Connectivity
The B212D equips you with pro connectivity for any live sound or recording application. Plug in your dynamic mic or instrument via the balanced XLR or 1/4" inputs. Both accept line- and mic-level signals, with a wide gain range that suits anything from vocals to bass guitar to electronic instruments. Use the XLR link out to connect additional B212D speakers for more coverage.

Great !!
I am mobile DJ, I dont have too much experience and I dont know a lot about speakers, I wanted to buy two powered speakers easy to carry. I found this speaker as the greatest option for me and my wallet! Mackie and JBL are great companies and YES...they do sound amazing...but the B212D has a great sound and its cheaper. I bought two of these and so far...they put a big smile on my face everytime I use them!... GREAT BUY!

Great, until they go bad
I bought a pair of these for my son, who is trying to start up a DJ biz. Sadly, within two months, the tweeter in one speaker quit working. Don't know if it's the tweeter itself, or the cross-over circuit. I was on hold trying to get to Behringer customer service for more than an hour. Even when I got thru, it took several follow up calls and emails to get an "RMA number" so that I could get the speaker repaired under warranty. Well, that meant getting the speaker to an Behringer authorized service center at my own expense. Happily, there is on in my town, although quite a drive away. When I got there, carrying the speaker, and complained about the difficulty in getting the RMA, they laughed and said I'd actually gotten off easy. Then they said the company was notorious for not providing them with the parts they need to make the repairs. "Sometimes it takes them months," they said. They also indicated they see lots and lots of Behringer speakers and other products with defects and problems. Long story short, the speaker has been languishing for ten weeks at the repair shop, and they still haven't gotten the part. This is an oh-too-familiar example of a firm that offers a great up-front price and clearly doesn't care about building a relationship with their customers, standing behind their warranties, or even pretending to act in an ethical manner. I won't ever buy anything from them again, and invite you to consider my experience when making a purchase choice.

Great Monitor for Onstage, Front of House with Subwoofer

If you're looking for a speaker that is going to be a floor monitor this is a great choice. Out of the different sizes of this type of speaker I would choose the 12-in over the 8 or 10. This is because you're getting more of a full range. The power found in the 12-in is nearly double that as well so it allows you to get more volume. This will help you by allowing you to have plenty of headroom for sound quality keeping the gain low. I also bought the 12-in sub and in greatly satisfied with that combination. I'm using the through non-equed out from the sub to the monitors and I'm getting very full very punchy deep music that I could use for front of house.
Still sounds AWESOME after 5 years.

I bought this speaker over 5 years ago and it still sounds like it did on day 1. I use it at work on the weekends around very loud blow molding machines. It easily over powers the machines. I'm often told by my supervisor to turn it down as they can hear my music on the other side of the factory. I would and have recommended this speaker to others who have bought one. I'm waiting for it to go out so I can buy the 15 inch with bluetooth. No need to replace it yet as it still works great.

Kinda funny when people only give 2 or three stars, but then they say it's great for the price. See for the price, it's a five star speaker. It's not a thumper. That's why you spend big dollars for a rocking qsc system. But, when you want a monitor, and only run vocals, and maybe a little guitar or keys into it, and EQ it as such- these things slay, and they cut thru the stage noise so you can hear yourself in the mix. Of course it's not a monster booming bass window rattler. Understand why you're buying it, and use it for the proper application it's made for- and it's great
