Good mid-range instrument at an affordable price

The finish of my guitar (bought at the local store near my office at a discount) is very good. The guitar has acclimated to my place and it seems that it required very little to set it up to my taste. Lightly relaxing the tension on the neck took care of the little buzzing I was experiencing and the action is still very low and easy. I was not hot about the look - a little bit flashy to my taste - but its tone seduced me. I came to the store with one model in mind, and I walked out with this guitar instead ... and I have enjoyed it so far. Now I am used to its look, it is mine. As the strings stretched, I can tell that it keeps its tuning well. And fine-tuning is easy to do. 4mm Allen wrench. I like the electronics as well, it sounds good through my amplifier. All of this is very subjective, still, it is a good instrument, that you should try if you can find that guitar.
I can't believe it, but I love this guitar.

I actually purchased a mid range Taylor but it just wasn't the one. After playing several more Taylor and Martin I just happened to see this and loved the look, and the fact that it had a beveled arm rest prompting me to stop and try it….. 20 minutes later I was purchasing it. The sound is great, think Taylor but with more bass and clarity. I couldn't believe that I returned a Taylor for a Cort but I just love this guitar! Try it, you'll see quickly what I'm talking about.

What model of guitar would this be considered? Would it be a folk guitar, a dreadnought, something else? Thanks.
It's what is referred to as a "Grand Auditorium". A size OOOO or OM. It's wider at the lower bout than a Dreadnought. about 16".submitted3 years ago
