I don't have any other pedals competing for space on a board -- hey, I'm a jazz player! -- but I still decided to go with this mini. Maybe because it's fairly inconspicuous visually? Actually, between the good reviews and the Dunlop name, I thought I couldn't go wrong. I was right! I've found this completely noiseless and sensitive pedal to be perfect for the volume swells I like to add occasionally. The tension is perfect for me as is, but it's nice to have the means to adjust it, as needed. Its sturdiness, too, is a big plus.

I'm strictly an amateur, so I have a small pedalboard with one row of effects. This compact pedal is a good match in size and works well for my purposes. I suppose if I were standing up, the larger version would be a lot easier to use. But this pedal is a good fit for my rig.

I bought this pedal because it fits very well on my bass pedal board. It doesn't take up much space. It is well built. Another plus is the pedal is a passive pedal; it does not require a power source. It is taking some practice to be able to get a smooth volume swell and fade outs.

  • Nice little pedal.

My experiences the same as many. The small size is efficient without compromising ease of use. The adjustable tension is a great feature. Sound seems ynafefested.

Can this be used to control volume on vocals too (would obviously need an XLR conversion cable)?

I actually have two questions...Given the price, does this pedal offer a smooth, linear transition when using it to gradually introduce volume or expression? And does it come with a 1/4 in TRS cable?
