The Best EHX pedal I've owned. Magnificent.

I played through a Leslie Proline 860 for 7 years on the road and this pedal duplicates the acceleration and deceleration speeds perfectly. The brake is a little slower to fully stop the rotatory sound. The overdrive is very nice and not "hissy". Magnificent sound with my Yamaha SK20.
Finally love my clonewheel organ

I was looking at another rotary pedal, then saw this one at a much lower price. I own a keyboard with a modeled drawbar organ section, and love most things about it except the rotary and overdrive effects. They are not very realistic. When I hooked up the Lester K, it was like a whole new organ section. The rotary and drive effects sound fantastic. I have now decided to keep the keyboard. To get the best results, you should definitely hook up your keyboard to output in stereo.
Like it but the speed brake fails to work half the time

My keyboard sounds like a Hammond but the speed brake switch fails to work half the time. If the switch was working, I would give it five stars.

I had become spoiled over the past few months using my friend's Motion Sound 3D rotary horn amp with my over achieving Casino keyboard. When he needed it back I had to find a way to feed my Leslie addiction without having to lug equipment around on a dolly. I tried my Money Laundry pedal which is excellent for guitar but fought with the DSP effects from my Casino. I did find a back door way to disable the DSP effects eventually. But the real solution was the Lester K! To my unsophisticated ear it sounds as good as the Motion Sound and offers a better control interface. It doesn't conflict with the DSP effects although I think it is better without them in the path. I am using it through a simple Peavey keyboard amp and couldn't be happier with the results. As mentioned earlier, the weight to swirl ratio is the clincher.
Eliminate up-front effects for maximum results

If you have ANY effects of any kind in front of the unit (including on board DSP/COSM effects), eliminate them immediately! Otherwise, you will get a much less satisfying experience with this unit.Eliminating the upfront effects gives you the ultimate pulsing whirly, swirly sound in STEREO. The drive and balance knobs do a great job, as do the slow and fast speed knobs working together with the brake switch.Just use a dry drawbar setup into the unit. Not sure you need any other effects post Lester K. Use 2 amps for stereo panning if you can. You will get excellent Leslie sound tailored to any style - only bounded by your drawbar settings skills.
I don't think so.
