Great Entry-Level Pickup

The Fishman Neo-D Pickup is a great pickup for the price. I got it for a last minute gig and was perfect. My only qualm is the cord comes out of the soundhole, other than that, it's a great deal. It gives fair-to-good tone for the investment.

Didn't work for me

I tried it with different guitar amps but I kept getting a ground sound effect from the pickup. Every time I was not playing, there was a buzzing noise coming from the speaker. Went with a Piazzo device instead and that worked out better for amplifying my acoustic guitar. No more grounding noise.

I'm using this pickup paired with a Martin D28 and a Fishman Loudbox Mini and the sound is fantastic. Able to use the full range of Bass, Mid and Treble without any sound breakup. Extremely pleased!

It is black, it works for either right or left handed, and the cable length is just under 1.5'.

This is just a bit big. It will only accommodate a sound hole down to 3 7/8". I'm sorry but we do not have a pick up that small. A sound hole pickup may not be an option. Check out - Korg CM-300 Contact Microphone.
