This Fishman Preamp is a must have piece of live performance gear. I needed to reduce the clutter on the pedalboard and this let me have a great preamp, equalizer, compressor Reverb, chorus, adjustable boost all in one quality Fishman pedalboard. If only it had a looper and a tuner..that would be icing on this piece of cake!

This is an awesome guitar effects pedal that has multi effects for an acoustic guitar. This is great for an acoustic guitarist or a one man band performer.

  • 6 pedals in one.

For me and my solo acoustic gig, this replaces a preamp, a DI, compressor, reverb (or delay), chorus and boost pedals, in an attractive and functional layout. Low cut is handy to remove boominess. I like that I can end send one signal (via xlr) to my powered speaker, for the acoustic sound, and another (via 1/4 inch instrument cable) to a guitar amp, for an electric sound. I like that the boost is variable and that there is a gain knob for guitar input, as well as a volume output knob. I like that the xlr out can be post (or pre) effects. I like that you can power this with a 9 volt battery or a regular 9 volt center negative ac adapter. Note you can use either reverb or delay, but not both at once. I like that you have time and level control knobs for the reverb (or delay) and rate and level control knobs for the chorus (or flanger or tremelo). I like the sound and the feel and the look of this versatile piece of sound equipment. I use it all the time in my restaurant/bar gigs and it has never failed me.

This unit has replaced a few different pedals I used on my board as it does all of the functions and then some in one pedal. The sound and effects are excellent, and the build quality is great. The plastic case is not an issue for me as the tone controls and trim pots are top notch.

  • Awesome acoustic effects!!!
