The Friedman Little Sister is a 20W 1x12 tube combo amp bursting with vintage British tone and attitude. Boasting a single channel driven by EL84 power tubes and a 12" Celestion Creamback speaker, the Little Sister delivers everything from sparkling cleans to overdriven crunch with a mere twist of its volume and gain knobs. Two mini toggle switches allow you to further shape your sound by adjusting the gain structure and high end. While designed primarily for classic rock tones, the Little Sister's versatile 3-band EQ provides a wide tonal palette suitable for blues, alt-rock, hard rock, and more. All of this premium tone comes in a compact package, ensuring you'll never leave home without it.

Shape Your Sound With Ease

If versatility is what you crave, the Little Sister has options in spades. Its 3-band EQ offers a sweeping range of tones, while the B-switch kicks up the high end for extra articulation and tightness. The S-switch optimizes the gain structure, providing a light overdrive bark on one setting and saturated tube compression on the other. With just a few simple tweaks, you can transform the Little Sister from a sparkling clean machine to a roaring rock beast.

Handle Effects With Care

One of the Little Sister's most compelling features is its transparent series effects loop, which allows you to use time-based effects, modulation pedals, and rack units without unwanted noise, tone suck, or signal drop. Rack up your favorite pedals and let the Little Sister handle them with care, providing a pristine platform for crafting your signature sound.

Premium Components, Premium Tone

Like all Friedman amps, the Little Sister is handwired for exceptional tone using custom transformers and premium capacitors. Dave Friedman has been tweaking, building, and repairing amps for over 25 years, earning him a reputation as an amp guru and a client list that includes Eddie Van Halen, Steve Stevens, and Jerry Cantrell. With the Little Sister, you can now access the same coveted tones relied upon by the pros night after night.

I bought a used Little Sister Combo from GC in Nashville, TN, and had it shipped to Denver, CO. The amp arrived in perfect condition. I played it for several hours and can't wait to gig it....Simply put, it's deceptively flexible and FABULOUS in every way! THANK YOU DAVE FRIEDMAN!

  • My Bucket list tone!!

Bought this to upgrade from my Marshall DSL40CR after playing it in store and instantly falling in love. I didn't think it'd be that much of an upgrade but it absolutely was. The note definition and clarity even when applying gain was incredible. It doesn't get as quiet as the Marshall, but it keeps it's incredible sound at low volume unlike the Marshall which sounds more thin at low volumes. The Marshall does to modern high gain better because the Friedman isn't meant for that, but the Friedman does clean, crunch, and classic rock tones way better and way more easily. I can get good tones out of the Marshall but with effort. With this amp, it comes effortlessly.

  • I would buy this amp again
