purchased 7/19/22. has 1-year factory warranty. unboxed it and turned it on to test it, and that was the one and only time it worked. I'm a professional musician for a living and occasionally need sound reinforcement in places where there is no AC power available. the next time I booked an outdoor wedding in a remote location was shortly after the warranty expired. from that day forward I have been trying to get it repaired from them. For months and months I would email them and they would keep telling me that they are waiting for parts. those parts never came. now for several months, they keep telling me that the unit is out of production and they can no longer repair it I am just out of luck. Guitar Center still sells these units brand new today??? I have politely tried to get them to help me since the day the unit failed me and have gotten nothing but the runaround from them week after week, month after month, finally to be told there is nothing they can do. Terrible customer service!

Buyer beware, I bought gemini, stopped working right before warranty ended, they didn't have the power supply in stock so I was never able to fix bc my warranty ran out. I asked them what I should do with unit, they said throw it away. feel like i got ripped.

I am a mobile DJ and purchased these in November of 2021 on a black friday sale. I was excited to have units that I could use outdoors for intimate ceremonies in the middle of nowhere. No need for a generator, perfect sound for a little music and clear speech. Overall, they have worked well. I had my first issue in June of 2022 at one of our more exclusive venues. I had done a sound check and all was well, then switched the power off for an hour or so until showtime. When I powered the units back up, they both powered on - but one no longer produced any sound. I didn't have time at this point to run power, additional speakers, etc. - so we had only one speaker working. I haven't had a booking for that venue since.... I knew I had purchased the "no worries, we fix it all, just bring it back" warranty on both units and attempted to return it through guitar center. It was still within the 1 year manufacturers warranty, so I had to arrange everything and ship it back to them. They returned it a few weeks later and everything was fine. A fluke, right? I used these at a neighborhood trunk-or-treat this last week, and had the same thing. Set them up. Sound check is great. Hour or so later, power them on and one doesn't produce sound. AGAIN. At least this wasn't a wedding. I know I have warranty coverage, so I don't stress it. I then call guitar center to use my " no questions asked, we'll replace it, no worries" warranty. I was then told that it's actually through Asurion, and guitar center doesn't have anything to do with the coverage. I would NEVER have purchased any coverage over the years had I known it was through an outside company. The point of this coverage is so that I can quickly get my equipment back and continue with business. I've now filed a claim with Asurion and will be shipping the unit back. I'm guessing it will be 3 weeks or so until I get my unit back, IF i get it back. If they simply refund my money, these units are now 100.00 more due to inflation. Not that I'd make the mistake of buying Gemini again, but I purchased coverage so I could simply bring it in to guitar center and swap it out. Overall, these units are good if you're just using them for fun. The connectors between the line array pieces are crap and loosen/break easily. The bags are dust covers, nothing more. Given the opportunity, I wouldn't buy these again.

I bought 2 of these on MF stupid deal of the day. Couldn't pass it up at almost BOGO free. One of the units went out completely after 2 months. I am now dealing with getting it resolved. They won't replace the unit. I have to send the entire unit back (Including the 2 plastic spacers. For REPAIR. They DO NOT cover shipping. I am getting it boxed up now. I'm guessing shipping will be at least $50. Not sure.

  • For the price, a good battery/portable column array.

We use this for duo/solo gigs, especially where getting power is a problem.

I use this speaker for outdoor performances, so we need to be able to hear our music. So far this has worked great.
