It's a nice little practice amp. Very portable that's why I purchased it. I own a positive grid spark which is my go to practice amp but when I need a simple set up this little amp does the job.

  • Sounds great and super portable

I love AmpliTube. This amp lets me use all my irig models with a tiny portable amp. Also has decent sounds standalone. Combined with the BlueBoard and a couple of cheap pedals, I can get a ton of good sounds and switch between amp models easily. I wish the latency with irig was a tiny bit less, but that's an app issue, not an issue with this amp. I also love that this thing will power a full sized cabinet.

  • IT'IS ONLY GOOD FOR PRACTICING

I spent just over $140.00 on their software that does not work. I got so frustrated trying to make it work that I didn't even try playing it old school. Do not waste your money on ik multimedia software or anything irig.

I bought and returned one of these Micro Amp that had a constant hissing sound in the background, and it didn't work with the phone app. Worked with IK customer service to get a replacement, and I'm glad I did. The second unit worked better than I had expected - good sound (there's still a faint, airy sound at the highest volumes) that turns great with some of the Amplitube models from both the phone and computer software. This is a huge bank-to-buck ratio for someone who wants to use IK Multimedia's awesome software and doesn't aleady have one of the newer-generation iRigs (I strongly recommend the HD2). This handy amp has the iRig basically built in, so you can plug into your phone or computer, or you can plug the guitar in straight for a good array of clean, crunchy and overdriven tones.
