The various woods used make it magnificent to look at. The back of the neck has 2 purple stripes - wow! The shape is sexy, the finish is so smooth. I can't take my eyes off it. The neck is very fast and smooth. It is a pleasure to play. The fat single coil Nordstrand pickups are hot and sound great. You can play it passively and let your amp do the work of shaping the sound, or you can go active and shape the big sound with 3 EQ knobs and a midrange switch that gives a range of sounds from smooth reggae to twangy treble,a great slapping sound and everything in between. It does everything I could dream of. You won't need another bass after this one.
