collapse expand iconDescription

The Ibanez RG631ALF RG Series 6-string electric guitar from Ibanez is a shred machine forged over three decades of metal. With a super-thin Nitro Wizard panga panga and walnut neck, Macassar ebony fretboard and nyatoh body, the RG631ALF delivers a playing experience designed for velocity and power. The RG631ALF comes equipped with Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups that provide an aggressive tone and powerful attack without excess noise. Additional features include Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads and a Gibraltar Standard II bridge.

Fishman Fluence Pickups Offer Two Distinct Voices

The Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups give players a choice between two unique voices. The first voice emulates a modern active pickup with tight bass, crisp highs and a touch of growl. The second voice produces a high-output humbucker tone tailored for distortion. Both voices deliver an aggressive tone and powerful attack with minimal noise, even with high gain.

Nitro Wizard Neck Enables Lightning-Fast Playing

One of the fastest necks Ibanez has produced, the Nitro Wizard panga panga and walnut neck allows for swift, dexterous playing. This slim, ultra-comfortable neck lets you execute rapid runs and arpeggios with ease while providing enough substance for solid chording. Designed with performance in mind, the Nitro Wizard neck will have you flying up and down the fretboard.

Macassar Ebony Fretboard Produces Tight, Rich Tone

The Macassar ebony fretboard generates focused lows and mids together with a strong treble attack and quick response with rich sustain. From the first note, the Macassar ebony fretboard helps the RG631ALF achieve a tight yet full tone that rings with clarity.

Additional High-Performance Features

Indestructible Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins keep your instrument secure under the most intense playing conditions. Luminescent side dot inlays help you stay oriented even on the darkest stages. Jumbo Sub Zero treated frets are highly resistant to wear for long-lasting playability. With a Gibraltar Standard II bridge, the RG631ALF provides optimal vibration transfer and a smooth surface for comfort.

Pickups are nice and clear and hot, neck is skinny and fast. Tone is solid. Great addition to my collection when I need a tone to cut through other stuff like keys, etc in a recording and for extreme harmonics.

I wouldn't buy Ibanez product in my rest of life. I don't know what is wrong with their inspection system. 8 out of 10 are SHARP FRET EDGES issues which is so CHILDISH issue, and I was very laughing because something was shaking inside of the guitar everytime moving it.

Solid guitar with zero issues other than the shipping damage. I bought this as such. Great value, the frets were excellent. No sharp edges, nice and level and an awesome neck.

Two questions in one post. One, when will this be available on Guitar Center in the US? Two, does this come with a gig bag/hardcase?
