The SRX812P 2-Way Active 12" PA Speaker fuses JBL's legendary sound quality with Crown's impressive power and efficiency. Part of JBL Professional's SRX800 line of powered PA systems, the SRX812P is a 12", 2-way speaker cabinet equipped with premium JBL drivers and 2,000W of Crown amplification with DriveCore technology. Designed for demanding portable applications, the SRX812P offers versatile configuration options and HiQnet networking connectivity for extensive system control. Experience high-performance, full-range sound in a rugged yet lightweight package with the SRX812P.

HiQnet Networking Puts Complete Control at Your Fingertips

The SRX812P features Ethercon connectivity to take advantage of HiQnet, JBL's networking protocol for configuring and optimizing sound systems. Use HiQnet Audio Architect software to fine-tune the speaker for any fixed installation or HiQnet Performance Manager for portable setups. Either platform provides comprehensive control over networking and system parameters to achieve the best sound for your application, all through an intuitive interface optimized for tablet use.

Massive 2,000W of Crown Power

The SRX812P is powered by Crown's proprietary DriveCore amplifier technology, which provides an exceptional 2,000W of peak power (1,500W RMS) in an efficient one-piece amp circuit. With an ultralow 103dB signal-to-noise ratio, the SRX812P can achieve tremendous sound pressure levels with outstanding dynamic range and minimal distortion across the frequency spectrum. Versatile power options like universal power supply with PFC and locking IEC cords allow for convenient international use and rapid setups.

Premium JBL Transducers for Pristine Sound

To deliver JBL's signature sound quality, the SRX812P features premium 12" and 3" JBL drivers housed in an enclosure engineered for sonic accuracy and balance. JBL's patented Differential Drive ferrite drivers have 3" voice coils, lighter ferrite magnets and extended low-frequency response. The neodymium 2432H compression driver is the only 3" neodymium model in its class, providing high power handling and a smooth, crystal-clear high end.

A Rugged Yet Portable Design

Purpose-built for demanding portable applications, the SRX812P combines high performance with a rugged yet lightweight design. The 18mm plywood cabinet has an impact-resistant Duraflex finish, 14 gauge steel grills and ergonomic handles for easy handling. M10 suspension points, indexed feet and pole mounts provide flexible configuration options for any setup or location. With onboard DSP, backlit LCD screen and glow-in-the-dark control panel, the SRX812P ensures an optimized experience even in low-light conditions.

Yes, you won't find clearer, more responsive, flat - full range sound. However, After 6 years of owning 2 speakers, and about 100 gigs, I have had to replace the power unit ($500) 3 times - only one within warrantee. I wish I would have gone with the passive 812s. I had to buy backup Eons just in case these go into protection mode - again. Official JBL repair tech says I am not alone with the problems, and JBL... your new Class D amps...ouch. Not for those who simply need to plug in, power up, and turn up..

I am somewhat of a gear nut and run professional sound. I was going to buy the V series, but after looking at reviews I bought the SRX to save a few thousand. Since I use a Sub, I opted for the 12" which does a superb job with the midrange (unlike many 15s) I was surprised at how it handled the low end as well. The sound is incredibly clean and responds great to EQ adjustments. I have used these during the summer at 1000+ person festivals and as small as 40 person event. I have not owned anything that comes close to this sound. Highly recommend. Only improvement would be the plastic adjusting knobs (all) fall out with little vibration on both speakers.

I just took them out of the box at a 2 day large outdoor festival. I was a little nervous about dialing them in as I am accustomed to just plugging in from analog A&H (basic). So I also ran a couple JBL JRX's along side for the first day, not the second. After turning the SRX812's on, I pushed in the button so it read "main", even though they were over subs, then dialed the attenuator to +10.5. That was it, and it was an incredibly clean sound. The second "Wow" for me. My first "wow" was the JBL VRX932 over subs. I honestly thought these were extremely close in sound quality, but now I am bias. History: I have owned Peavey, 4 different JBL's (JBL should have never exchanged the Pros series for the JRX), Yamaha (which I liked), and I still own Line 6 L2m's (really like them). I wanted to own the best sounding speakers (to my ears) within my budget. I am 100% satisfied with the sound. If you have a great band, you need great speakers. Get these or the VRX's.
