    I'm extremely pleased with the durability and the compact design of this stand. Took me a little time to figure out how to retract the top brackets as the schematic doesn't fully explain it. I get it now. Nests easily with my mic and guitar stand. One less trip and no clunky top to detach and carry. The tripod feet fan out wide and grip well. The knobs that adjust height are easy to operate. My binder of lead sheets is slim but I imagine it could support a good sized one without buckling. The manuscript holder is wireframe so you would see daylight through single sheets. Might be too narrow for a musical score but fakebooks are right at home on it. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone in search of a sturdy, portable stand.

    Second K&M stand I've bought (first was a mic stand) and love them both. Solidly built but lightweight and no cheap plastic bits that could eventually break off. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a decent stand for home and/or small gig use.

    portable, foldable (read directions to use first), lightweight and still sturdy enough to hold my massive notebook of lyrics... worthwhile investment
