The 85 is a bass interval pedal offering studio-quality pitch tracking and sound. Lovingly handcrafted in Laney's UK workshop in the heart of England, The 85 gives you independent control of an octave down and an additional switchable "Interval" control, allowing for an extra octave up, two octaves down or a perfect 5th above your original note. Focus control allows you to fine-tune the character, from classic funky subs to massive synth-like chords—all with pro-level tracking.

The 85 features tri-colored LEDs to give you a clear visual reference to which mode your pedal is running in on a dark stage. It is also important to note when you activate an effect there is no switching noise.

    This is a very versatile octave pedal. I have found that it doesn't add a lot of undue noise to my signal chain, and it tracks crazy good. There are not a whole lot of reviews and demos of this pedal online, so I took a big jump in grabbing this. It was well worth it. You can do anything from subtle sub octave, too wild synthy 5ths with depth. Throw it together with an envelope and or a chorus and you can get crazy.
