    Having listened to a few different models in GC, this one stood out as one of the clearest and definitely loud for what it is. I have not pushed them to the point of distortion, and have played as loud as i cared to. Having speakers with room above my loudest listening level is not easy to find, but this one does the trick.

    I've been using a pair of these Mackie 824s for a year now - daily. They deliver a balanced, transparent sound, and are built like tanks. I'd buy them again with no hesitation.
