Description
The Marshall JVM410H 100W tube amp head provides the power and versatility that today's guitarists demand. Featuring four independent channels with three modes each and powered by four EL34 valves, this made-in-England amplifier delivers 12 distinct tones with studio-quality digital reverb — allowing guitarists to achieve any sound they desire. The JVM410H is the most flexible Marshall amplifier ever made that produces more gain than any previous model.
Four Channels, Each with Three Modes
The JVM410H features four channels: Clean, Crunch, OD1 and OD2. Uniquely, each channel offers three distinct modes, providing 12 different voices at your fingertips. From pristine cleans to the heaviest distortions, this amp covers the full tonal spectrum. With a turn of a knob or press of the footswitch, you can switch between channels and modes in an instant to achieve the perfect tone for any part of your performance.
Legendary EL34 Power for Raging Tones
At the heart of the JVM410H is a quartet of EL34 power valves, the classic design responsible for the legendary Marshall roar. Pushing 100 watts of power, these valves provide a peerless foundation for tube saturation and distortion. When cranked, the JVM410H delivers a thunderous and sustaining wall of sound with rich harmonic content — the iconic British rock tone that has shaped music for generations.
Studio-Quality Digital Reverb
The JVM410H is equipped with studio-quality digital reverb, allowing you to add depth and dimension to your tone. With independent reverb level controls for each channel, you can tailor the amount of reverb for your clean sounds, crunch rhythms and searing leads. The reverb is also footswitchable, permitting you to toggle it on and off during your performance.
Comprehensive Footswitching and MIDI Control
To provide maximum flexibility, the JVM410H includes a six-way footswitch and MIDI implementation. The footswitch offers channel selection, reverb on/off, and master volume selection. Via MIDI, you can control all switching functions on the amp, allowing you to recall any of the 12 modes at the press of a button. With memory in the footswitch, you can program your channel and mode presets ahead of time for an optimized live performance.

This thing is SICK!
I've played electric guitar 13 years, and along the way have tried many, many amp heads, combos, etc. Nothing compares to this for versatility, or shall I say the combination of versatility and tone. My last amp was the TSL which I was quite happy with, previously it was the JCM900 and I also own or have owned combos. They aren't kidding when they say that each channel is unique - the clean one in "green" (least gain) mode has no mess or BG noise whatsoever. It almost sounds acoustic! The orange channel is comparable to most Marshall heads in the clean mode. On the other end, the amount of gain you can get from any version of the OD2 channel is disgusting and beautiful. You release the strings and it will shriek at you on whatever note you last touched. The best summary I can think of for this monster is that you take the best things from three Marshall lines, combine them, clean it up with new features, and ship it. It has the master volume feature from the Master Volume amps, the tube diagram of the JCM800 for that great "Marshall Roar" and liquid cleans, and the switchability of the TSL but with one more channel and three modes per channel. It's not four amps, it's not even 12 - with the master volume you have 24 options, and with the footswitch memory you can make it as flexible as you are creative. One of the best purchases I've ever made. This thing is SICK!

Review of the JVM 410 H
Hi I am writing a review of the Marshall JVM 410 H. My guitar is a Gibson Les Paul that sounds incredible. Well I walked into guintar center with my Les Paul thinking that this marshall was going to be incredible. I was very interested in it at the time and had researched the Marshall JVM 410 H. Well I plugged it into a Marshall 1960 Cab and turned it on. To tell you the truth, I was very disappointed. The clean channel was okay, as well as the crunch channel. But, the two overdrive channels, OD1 and OD2, were very bad. They lacked the explosive drive that I had expected. The bass drive wasn't there in all four channels, especially OD1 and OD2. I would not recomend this product to anyone who wants the explosive drive of a real metal styled amp. I ended up buying a Mesa Boogie Mark Five, which sounded way better and cost less money. I recommend trying a mesa boogie after you try out the Marshall JVM 410 H. The Mesa boogies have way better tone and have way more powerful sound. Please, try the Marshall JVM 410 before you buy it. You might change your mind. Don't believe all the propaganda about it. Thank you for your time, Zachary

This amp can do anything. Channel 1 has headroom for days on green mode. Yellow mode, less headroom. Red mode, almost no headroom. Channel 2 green is a slightly gritty clean. Yellow gives it a stroke of the blues tone. Red mode is ballsy blues, good amount of gain. Channel 3 yellow is IT for me. Great crunch tone, loads of gain that can be walked up to "chugga chugga." Channel 4 stays on red for me. It's the lead channel and it does chugga-chugga decently. I will say, if you're after the massive palm muted, drop tuned sound, go Mesa. This amp will do it, just not in spades like a Mesa. BUT literally every tone you could imagine and any level of gain you can imagine... It's there and it sounds so righteous. Tons of power. Classic Marshall tonaility. Features galore! Independent Reverb for each channel, four channels with three modes each, Master one and master two volumes, and options for blending your effects loop. It even has MIDI! Now for the downside. The low end knob is not great. It is thick. It is warm. But it is not massive. I leave it most of the way to 10 on all gain channels (without a boost). The mids are meh. 650Hz is just an awful frequency to focus the mids knob. I leave the mids at about 9:00-10:00 on every channel. The treble knob is awful. It adds a shrillness to the tone that is quite ice-picky to the ears. This knob stays between 9:00-10:00 on all channels. The resonance knob stays at 3:00, meaning this amp lacks in low end. Resonance knob = low end response of the power amp, for those that don't know. Presence knob stays at 9:00, meaning the treble on this amp is harsh. And, another downside, this amp is very heavy and very big. Quite cumbersome. But, that is to be expected with any nice tube amp, I suppose, so I won't let it detract from my opinion. Just know it's every bit as wide as your 412 cabinet and it's just as heavy. If you have back problems and can't afford a roadie-for-hire, look elsewhere! With my Les Paul, I like this amp a lot. With my American HSS Strat, I am head over heels innlove with this amp. It sounds absolutely phenomenal in every genre I have tried it. Again, doesnt have the low end chugga-chugga of a Dual Rec, but still sounds amazeballs. For real, if you're in a cover band or enjoy spanning a handful of genres, then this amp is a one-stop-shop for you. I love the way it sounds with my Strat. Country, blues, slow dance, punk, pop, funk, and hard rock... 10 out of 10. Djent and palm muting high gain, 7 out of 10. I plan to retube this head. It came with JJs, which I have always not liked for their low-end flubby tone. I will put Russian tubes in this thing and put a 10-band EQ before the amp and I guarantee this will be my daily driver. (I also own Mesa, Bogner and Friedman. Yes, I would put the tone up there with all my of them. I just really was unimpressed with the 3-band EQ on this amp, but it is still totally possible to dial in a sweet tone! Just go subtractive on the mids and treble).

In my personal opinion this Amp is overkill. I liked my DSL much better. But hey, to each his own.

The JVM410H is one killer amp. From pristine cleans to melt your face it covers it all. It is so virsitile with the programmable footswitch. And when they say easy to set up they are not kidding. It took me maybe 20 minutes to set the switching the way I wanted and maybe 45 minutes to decide witch pedals sounded better through the send/return and witch In the front. Being an all tube amp it has a warmth to it even with the bass section nearly off. I have both the AVT410H and C amps and there is no comparison. I've also owned and played through 100s of amps in my 50 years of searching for the lost chord and I may never find it but this amp has definitely gotten me a lot closer. Yes, it's spendy but well worth it.
Awsome and versital

This is everything you would want in a Marshall. Sad to say though that UPS dropped the amp somewhere in shipping and damaged it. I had to return it, so get the GC coverage for sure. I have another on the way.
