This is a sick, sick masterpiece of sound tech

It's not supposed to go this way. I'm supposed to exchange $100 for a scarcely tolerable practice toy that ranks 1.75x give or take below my mediocre expectations. I'm supposed to struggle with whether to return it now or just learn to deal with it. It had been so long since going otherwise that I'd totally forgotten that once in a super rare while, maybe b/c my good deed count + sum of past sufferings punches thru some magic karmic threshold and a shockingly good thing happens. So a full day passed b4 I had time to do the Nux MPP a sesh. It was a day wasted. This lil fkr's factory presets pleasantly suprised me. But after downloading the app and < 10 min of tweak to build a deliciously melting, studio quality Robin Trower flanged OD, I realized somebody's really looking out for my health and well being. Ok maybe it's just the techs at Nux. Fine with me. They nailed it. This first ad hoc sound design attempt using their mobile app delivered 2-3x above expectations. I stayed up almost all night with this thing, no joke. It's now going everywhere I go. No joke. I think I'll start a cult with it.

second review after getting lots of Down side? but some good

well there are some good, now the tech of it is pretty good!! the sound? is well? ok? but it is very Muddy? it is good? but if your thinking it can be "Defined" and tight? no? it is Muddy the "Clean" sounds are good!! but "ANY" of the distortions are "Very Muddy" now to be fair? could be my Headphones? but? they sound good for my Monitor recording and such so it "MIGHT" be those? but again the Distortion sections on all the Gain Amps at there Stock settings were "Muddy" anything past about? 48 to 52 for the "Gain" was like? a "Blubbery" kinda of Muddy? but for the basics for some "Kind of Practice" its not bad? if you can understand it is just that? now? i did upload the firmware and this alone could be a NIGHTMARE for some? it was not bad, but the "Names" used for the PROGRAMING i think should be used back to Original stating? such as "Program" this could make it Universally Easier. now back to tone? so in general it is a good Product, the "Programing" used on the Phone is Nice, Intuitive and easy to understand.is easy to use, but the uploaded new "PROGRAMING" mentioned new Tones? but? was just levels evened out? but the "Muddy" sound was still just as bad, i think as well? may be from the pickups i use? Seymore Duncan JB pickups. which are a kinda of Middle of the road? for there output, bit on the Upper side? so this MAY have contributed to the "Muddy Tone" but again? it very well could have been my headphones? so best suggestion? if decide to get one? "TRY ONE FIRST" with your headphones! and try them? for "Me" the Product sounded "NOTHING" like in the videos one may see online, but the clean tones and amps were VERY GOOD!! but if say one has a Upper end High gain say Tube amp? it does not sound like those? the EQ helps "A TINY Bit" but again the Muddy tone and sound was very Prominent, have tried the Positive Grid Products and i hate to say? the Higher Gain emulations were allot better, but then? MAYBE i got one that was just drifting in its settings? so the product is great! if going to play only clean tones and amps, and the distortion(high gain) its subjective? if you like that sort of Muddy kinda of tone and sound? this is a great product! BUT! if your one to want a "Tight" Focused almost a "Chirp" when hitting the stings! then NO its no where near this? but again for that Sound if like that? it does sound good. will say the "Clean Tones" and Program 5 stars! the Distortion tone 1 Star for a Tighter Focused tone. but a 5 star for the more warmer less focused Distortion if you do not like the "Crisp" and snappy Distortion. and again! in my Particular situation? it may be my Headphones? but its still going back. at 118.00 after taxes? and if had to spend more on "Some type of Upgraded" headphones? then be better to get something different anyways? but this is just my Experiance, yours may be much better over all still a good Product.

I really liked the product and I like the idea of this thing I just have one tiny problem with it though. Sometimes while moving around the options I would hear a really loud squeal which hurted my ears a head sometimes so quick tip. When your messing around remove your headphones.😆👍🏼

The headphone jack broke in my hand lol. Not once but 4 of them all the same failures all different ways. Also the battery is like maybe 2 hours if you are very lucky. My mistake is continuing to use it and continuing my frustration instead of buying the pjb practice amp that will actually stay in one piece.

Great little unit for what is and a lot for the money. I have seen this get bad reviews, but if you have an average pair of studio monitor headphones it's plenty good. I did experience the high pitch noise but after updating firmware and then selecting reload presets from the option menu it was good to go. Changing The cab sims on the muddy presets solves all the problems. If you hate tweaking sounds you might not like it. If you like shaping them up you can do a ton here. Not gonna sound like a $2000 tube amp because it not, but you can get great sounds for sure. And it's fun trying new things out. One thing you may run into is even though the plug is connected to your phone you do get the app to work just fine, but you will also see another option on. Your phone to collect another choice for the mighty plug to get the audio from your phone to stream like backing tracks or YouTube videos. It's a great product.

Don't believe the hype. Look around the internet for "high pitched squeal" associated with this product. It always sounds like there is an active microphone feeding back into your guitar signal. Move the treble or presence at your own risk. Mine also make a lovely deafening blast of high frequency sound when you unplug the headphones. I own a ton of gear - this thing sucks the most. I suspect there is some kind of issue with the headphone jacks on these that is causing the screech for so many people. Avoid.

No. This is strictly an amp so you wouldn't be able to run your bass through this and the PA system at the same time.
