    I bought this new bench to have in a 2nd location and even though it is the exact same model number as my previous bench, it is hard as a rock! Completely UN-comfortable! I already have this exact bench model that I bought in 2010 and it was literally the most comfortable keyboard bench I have ever owned. The seat cushion was so soft and comfortable which is great when I am playing a 4 hour gig. I called Sweetwater about it since I was going to order it from them instead, and they said that On Stage has changed their design! I was devastated. Now I have to go out and buy a soft cushion to put on top of this hard as a rock seat. Total bummer.

    While I do play the piano, I bought this bench to use with my portable looms. Normal folding chairs are too low, but this bench will give me a seat at the right height when I take my loom to a workshop. It's very sturdy!

    Have had this now for 4 years from my local GC, amazing comfort, plenty sturdy. Im a guitar player and i use this everyday for guitar practice and gig rehearsals. Fully adjustable height and the thick padded seat is so comfy and this thing has excellent back/neck support provided you sit up straight with good back posture. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Just be careful about sharp things that could puncture the seat pad cushion.
