While not 'solid as a rock' like some heavier, higher cost solutions, this stand is very portable and much more stable than a Z stand or an X stand.

I lead music in a church band. I play guitar, but I'm learning keyboard.

Very sturdy, very easy to use. I love being able to slide underneath the platform instead of running into the cross beams of a traditional design; especially at my height (6'4), this is a welcome change. Thinking I'll be buying a couple more...

bought as a stand for lap steel guitar. added a piece of grippy drawer liner to protect the lap steel and it works fine. a little heavy but sturdy.

Great stand, very stable. I bought one for my Yamaha moxf, ended up buying 2 more that I use for gaming controllers and various home projects.
Great but a little unstable

The stand is light, strong and very portable. However, it is not to stable from front to back. Fully extended, which is how i use it, it could be easily knocked over with even a light keyboard on it. I made braces for mine which attach to the back legs. If not for the front back stability issue, I could give it 5 stars.

1330097659612 what is the depth of the stand? I have a table that's 11" deep, trying to figure out if this stand will work. Thanks.
