Pearl’s 70 years of drum craftsmanship culminate with the kit you’re ready to step up to. With 5.4 mm maple shells, pro-level features and gorgeous lacquer finishes, this Decade Maple 3-piece shell pack with 24" bass drum elevates your performance at a price that was previously thought impossible.

Decade’s 6-ply/5.4 mm all-maple shell is what sets it apart from the others in the field. The final product of ten years of process and material refinement, each cross-laminated ply incorporates Pearl’s proprietary Superior Shell Technology.

Pearl’s Superior Shell Technology utilizes a proprietary technique for achieving the ultimate air chamber. It begins with select woods chosen for their unique acoustic attributes, milled to precise thickness with overlapping scarf joint seams, for a perfect airtight fit. The wood plies are saturated with Pearl’s proprietary "AcoustiGlue" that permeates every pore and dries to the exact consistency of the wood for optimum resonance.

Finally, the plies are formed in high-temperature molds with 1,000 PSI of hydraulic pressure to produce perfect drum shells that exhibit superior tone, optimal resonance and extreme strength. The resulting thin (but powerfully strong) shell reacts quickly to the stroke, producing beautifully resonant highs and thundering lows.

Decade’s low-mass/low-contact shell hardware assures optimum shell performance and rock-solid durability. Features include Uni-Lock gearless tom arms, insulated die-cast claw hooks, R40 Air Suspension Floor Tom feet and a newly designed mini lug.

Cymbals and hardware sold separately. This shell pack includes tom holders.

    This is a great kit. I had not played drums for quite a few years and finally saved up some money and bought a Pearl Forum 6 piece kit. I changed out the factory supplied heads with some Evans heads and traded out the snare for a Pearl steel Sensitone. I played that kit and loved it, but wanted to upgrade. I saw this Pearl Maple Decade and could not resist. Love the sound, action and warmth of these drums. I would recommend anytime.

    I absolutely love the kit, it has a beautiful lacquer finish. The 24 inch bass drum has a beautiful deep tone to it. And I got the orange county percussion 25 ply maple snare. The four drums. Mate up rather nicely. I would definitely recommend this set. To anyone on the market for a new kit.

    The finest quality all-maple drums at this price you'll find. The shell sizes - 24" x 14", 16" x 16" and 13" x 9" are perfect for rock & metal. I put Remo coated Emperor batter heads on and tuned low, they sound like cannons.

    Easy setup out of box. beautiful yellow kit with 24 inch bass drum sounds wonderful. Toms require better heads but gels or rings work fine with stock heads,really loving this kit. I have been playing for well over 45 years and have always loved 14inch deep kick drums best. I will be playing these things out at many gigs over the next year so we will see how they hold up, but for now A+ to Pearl

    I am a working musician and have been playing for an amazing 50 years. I have three other kits all American made drum kits from my early Rogers kit from the late 60's to modern day Ludwig recording custom. I have been looking for a 24 x 14 bass drum forever just like my Rogers kit. I have never owned a all Maple kit and I had concerns. Well it took about 3 hours to assemble and they sound amazing and look spectacular I choose the Yellow color. I am also impressed by the quality of the hardware. They will be put to the test. Bottom Line I would highly recommend this kit a tremendous value 1/3 the cost of a Ludwig kit with the same size drums
