Description
All free-floating snare drums are equipped with die-cast hoops, free-floating lugs, chrome hardware, a coated Remo Ambassador batter head and Pearl's new SR-160F strainer, featuring Pearl's exclusive Click-Lock system which simultaneously "locks" the snare lever and the tension adjuster to your exact liking. The metal shell drums have a classy brushed finish, while the wood shell drums are finished in Pearl's exclusive Satin Lacquer natural wood finishes.

I am absolutely in love. the brass shell has such a full tone. Blends well in a live setting. Very versatile: responsive at low volume, control at higher. Ghost notes are a dream and the tone stays true.

I use this pearl free floater in gospel music as well as R&B and Jazz it's a very versatile snare Drum weather You use it on high tension or med it's very easy to adjust.

I was honestly looking forward to this drum. I'm on my second one and both shells were not well finished inside. If you can ignore that, it is a great sounding drum. But, for the price, I think there are better options
