The 12" PDX-12 pad for snare/tom features Roland’s legendary 2-ply mesh head, for solid resistance, along with tension-adjustable operation for authentic and satisfying rebound. The snare hoop height has been updated to be a lower profile, so it's more like an acoustic snare, allowing you to play more naturally. High quality materials and newly designed hoop rubber offer the authentic feel akin to hitting an acoustic drum, while two independent sensors allow you to designate different sounds for the head and rim.

    Purchased this to add to a Simmons SD600 kit and it works great! More even consistency and very high quality to last a long time (I hope!)

    It may. It will very possibly be inconsistent. It’s not a good idea to mix brands of e-drums.

    Is this compatible with the TD-07 module. As a replacement for the floor tom. I realize it won't allow for separate rim and head triggers. I just want a bigger pad.

    From what I understand you can as long as the inputs mach with the module. Where most of them use 1/4" inputs it would be a very unlikely situation to run into where they are different.

    The PDX-12 would not be compatible with the Roland TD-1.

    It will work, but since the PDX12 is dual trigger and the TD5 isn't, you won't have the ability to perform a rimshot.

    This is compatible with the TD-50k and can be used as a snare or tom. The TD-50 does use a PDX-100 for toms and : PD-140DS for a snare.
