Open Box SABIAN AAX Series Chinese Cymbal Level 1 18 in.

I got the 16" china and....WOW!!! it is just awesome! the sound is so "trashy" it's way more than an accent cymbal. I use this as a ride some times. The quality is just amzazing. Worth EVERY penny and more!

I've owned this china for about 4 months now. It sounds great, it looks great....like all the AAX cymbals. I play LOUD metal/hardcore. At times it doesn't seem like it's loud enough to cut through the guitars...but it projects very well. It's easily heard. It does not do well in low volume situations...but if your looking at the AAX line you probably don't play in low volume anyway. My only real complaint is after a few months the label is showing a little sign of wear.

I've owned this particular china in the 18" variety for about 6 months and I've loved it for longer. It makes for a very different-sounding cymbal. My only issue is that it does not do low volumes well, but really -- when are you EVER going to want a soft, low china? It sounds beautiful on stage and in recordings.

I have had my 18 inch AAX china in brilliant finish for nearly one year now and I love it. When struck aggressively it really cuts, but when played with a softer stroke it is much warmer. I play everything from fusion to metal, and so far I have never been disappointed with the sound it produces. I have it mounted fairly flat and it has a very solid feel when struck, unlike many other chinas I have played. It truly is a great all-around cymbal. I highly recommend it!

The Sabian AAX Series Chinese Cymbal is the best China cymbal Sabian has to offer in my opinion. The sound quality is great! It will with-stand a very hard hit! It may be kind of expensive, but let me tell you something, it is WORTH it!
