The 16 is a standalone keyboard with individual tuneable keys and a programmable step sequencer. The 16 is assembled by you. The unit is designed to control the 400 or any other modular synthesizer. It makes no sound by itself, but sends CV, MIDI over 3.5 mm and trig.

The pocket operator series from teenage engineering are designed to be compact and affordable synths. With quality components, it delivers excellent sound and is compatible with other pro gear and Eurorack systems.
