Great Beginner Bongos!
When I recieved these bongos, I wasn't expecting much. When I pulled them out of the box and started playing, I was pleasently suprised. Great quality and feel to the bongos. Also, the synergy bongos have a great sound and a solid build. What the specs don't tell you is that the small bongo is 6 inches and the large is 6-3/4 inches, so they are very compact and easy to play. Great buy. 5 stars!!!

Needs to be micced
The head is a bit to thick for my taste, sounds lifeless without a mic bringing out the bottom end.

I've been playing drums since the age of 4... 33yrs now... For an economy set of bongos, these things sound wonderful! Crisp, full sound!!!

I picked these up as a set to have around the house for random jam sessions. They're great for setting a rhythm, they have a decent tone and they can take beating (i.e. fairly kid proof).
I'm learning and is awesome
