    I love the design of this beater. They sound great and they play great. I just bought my second one to use for a double kick set up. I have mine set up with a dw5000 pedal.

    Not only is it the only wood shaft beater I know of, it is also the only beater with a completely spherical mallet head I know of. Noticed a HUGE difference immediately with both sound and rebound. Honestly when I first saw this product I thought it was a gimmick but boy was I wrong; I've been a percussionist for a long time and this is easily one of the best pieces of equipment I've purchased. Recommend using without a patch on the drumhead. This beater and the Trick Dominator beater(for the other side of the sound spectrum) are my two favorites. 10/10 would recommend/will buy again.

    This is definitely one of the most solid beaters I've ever used. Liked it so much I bought two! It is definitely well made and the rebound is unbelievable! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a solid beater!

    Would this make any difference if used with a kick trigger pad? I have read it makes a difference in the feel and rebound, but, didn't know if it was worth trying on a V drum.

    I have heard it's a bit more realistic feel. I would recommend giving one a shot if you want a more authentic feel to your drumming.
