collapse expand iconDescription

The Orange Amplifiers Crush Mini 3W 1x4 Guitar Combo Amp packs a powerful punch in a pint-sized package. This mini marvel is ideal for practice, recording, and performance, with a robust 3W output, analog solid-state circuitry, and custom-voiced Orange speaker that delivers the brand's signature British tone. Its highly portable size lets you take your music anywhere, while an intuitive control panel affords an array of tone-tailoring options to suit any style. Available in classic Orange or sleek black, the Crush Mini is a must for any guitarist seeking premium sound and maximum versatility in a minimum of space.

Custom-designed Speaker Pumps Out Premium Tone

At the heart of the Crush Mini's impressive sound is its custom-designed 4" speaker, specially crafted to handle the rigors of Orange's high-gain tones without breakup. Its rich, resonant voice brings out the best in the Mini's analog circuitry, conveying the warm, organic quality that has made Orange a legend. Despite its diminutive size, this speaker pushes air with ease, filling any room with beautifully balanced sound across the entire frequency range.

Intuitive Controls Shape Your Signature Sound

A thoughtfully designed control panel puts complete tonal control in your hands. Use the Gain knob to set the amp's drive level, from clean and sparkling to raucous and raging. The Shape switch tweaks the amp's EQ to emphasize lows and highs for extra warmth and presence. The Volume knob lets you crank the Mini up to maximum volume without distortion, making this mighty mini amp ideal for any application where outstanding tone is a must.

Fun little amp

I demo'd a bunch of mini amps and the Orange ended up on top. For the size, it has good sound even at full gain and full volume while most of the other mini amps become useless around half-full volume. It has super-tough construction, which makes it a little heavy. But some of these minis feel very light, poorly constructed and cheap. And it runs on a single 9 volt battery compared to some minis that require 6 AA batteries. And it runs a long time. I probably got 30+ hours out of the generic battery it came with and expect more with of better batteries.

Not worth it

I bought this as a way to practice and not annoy my family .cool idea .needs a lot of work in my opinion the knobs only work when they turned half to all the way up .the crunch on it is too much for a little speaker.it scares the pets but that not worth it .auto tuner is way too sensitive.i double checked with a simple phone amp and it was way off .it was a Christmas gift so I don't plan on returning it .i had picked up a plug in headphones amp sonicake us classic .it produces a way better sound volume and tone all seem to respond well .and it was like 20$ .as a gift I was stoked to get the micro amp …but now it's become a project to see if I can make it work better .for the money it cost ..save it get a headphone amp amd enjoy your playing

I had bought a cheap travel guitar and looked around at mini amps. I liked how the orange amp was built like a full sized amp just mini. Before buying it tried it out. Was surprised at how good it sounds for a mini amp. I like how it can be either powered off a 9 volt battery or a AC adapter. Was also surprised it came with a battery already in it! This is my first orange brand amp so the control knobs took a second to under stand. I normally use peavy or crate so the wiring diagram symbols next to the knobs threw me off slightly. FYI this isn't going to be a for performance amp. I read bad reviews from people trying to use it to play live. This is a good in you room or on a trip in the hotel room amp. It has a head phones jack which will come in handy in the hotel room. To sum it up. Great built, good sounding, 2 ways to power it, fun little amp!

  • Great Sound and Versatility Out of a Tiny Amp

This amp is more useful than you would first assume. For starters, sure it's small, rugged, and portable. At 3W and a 4" speaker, it produces much better sound quality than the Marshall and Fender, etc brand mini amps, plus it's built like a brick instead of a toy. Built in tuner is convenient too. One of the best kept secrets about this Mini is that YES you can use it to power a 4x12 cabinet (or smaller if you prefer) at 3W and actually use that Cab in your bedroom on a cranked amp without blowing your ears out.

I got this for my kids just starting out on their guitar journey. It provides good enough sound quality and is easy to use. The built in tuner is key and a great feature!

  • Volume not loud enough to play (cleanly) along an acoustic

Bought it to play my electric guitar along with our church praise band. For me, this amp cannot play loud enough to even match the volume of a hollow-body acoustic, and do it cleanly without saturation. Distortion(yes that is different), is awful. But.. Fits in a guitar gig bag pocket

How do you power this amplifier with a 9V battery? I don't see a battery compartment anywhere.

Turn off and unplug the amp. Flip the amp over so the bottom is facing up. You’ll find a screw-secured plate on the bottom — this is the battery compartment cover. Unscrew the plate (usually with a Phillips head screwdriver). Inside, there’s a 9V battery clip — connect your 9V battery to it. Place the battery in the compartment carefully and screw the plate back on.

The Orange Crush Mini 3W 1x4 Guitar Combo Amp is designed for electric guitar, not bass. The 4-inch speaker and 3W output aren’t built to handle bass frequencies well. Pushing it too hard might cause distortion (not the good kind) or even damage the speaker over time. Tone: You won’t get much low-end response. It’ll sound thin and might fart out on lower notes.

The classic Orange Amplifier clean sound has always been synonymous with a warm mid-tone that sounds creamy and thick, which is how the clean tone on this amp would sound.

This amp is only 3 watts, so it would be approximately 50 decibels.

This is a combo amp, so an extension cabinet would not be necessary.
