I hunted around for a new head for weeks and bought a couple at a lower price point. I wasn't happy with any solid state or tube head I could find. I decided to bite the bullet and move up in price point. By far this head is the most warm feeling I found. It has a good amount of gain and a chimmy clean sound with it's two channel set up. The clean channel is easy to trim off the high with one knob and the dirty channel can easily push the gain overboard if you want. It also has an tubed FX loop that works well with the couple of wet pedals I have. I have no regrets after buying this amp.

I've been using an Orange Dark Terror for recording, but we are starting to play live now and I didn't feel it had the power I was looking for. I absolutely love the Dark Terror sounds and was worried I would lose that if I switched to something else. I decided to go with TH30WH Head and I am so happy with it! Great sound and plenty of power!!!

Very different from the Rockerverb! Definitely has more gain and a very different Voicing. Has more fuzz than the rockerveb but less bass. Also orange amps are underrated for their clean channels and this is the same. I love both channels! For so lil eq it has a wide range of tones coming out of this head. The Gain and tone knob really goes hand and hand to sculpt the tone. The cleans are very sparkly and super warm absolutely amazing with a reverb! My cons are volume ain't has loud as people made it out to be and sometimes I wish I had a few more eq knobs but for the most part I've really come to love this amp!

This amp is an absolute beast. i've only played it half power so far (15 watts) and it got LOUD. perfect drive channel for black sabbath style sounds, very fuzzy. clean channel sounds great, very clear but breaks up a little too fast, starting at 11oclock. the clean channel when pushed past break up sounded like a nice creamy overdrive, i see no need for any pedals to go with this amp besides an EQ for the effects loop. and that leads to the one negative about this amp: its lack of EQ. only 6 controls, 3 for each channel, leave me with little options to tweak the sound. so i'll be needing a ten band eq to really unlock this amp's potential. either way, with or without an eq, the amp sounds killer. and even at 15 watts power can handle a drummer, maybe even a gig. 9/10.

  • So good you need 2/ of them !!

This is a great amp. I love that it has 2 channels. The clean has a very vox-like crystal clear chime and the distortion can go from great 80's rock to modern metal. I also have a marshall studio classic and it's nice to have that "orange" distortion in addition to the Marshall sound to choose from. I wouldn't hesitate if you are considering buying this!!!!
