Orange County Drum & Percussion Drum Throne

Description
The Orange County Drum and Percussion drum throne lets you rule your kit in comfort and style. Double-braced tripod legs give you a stable base of operations, while the thick padded, height-adjustable seat with memory lock lets you find your optimal position behind the drums. Once you've found your perfect height, the memory lock will keep your settings in place for consistent comfort at every practice and performance.
Built to Withstand the Beating of a Lifetime
As a drummer, you put serious stress on your equipment—and your body. The OCDP drum throne is built to handle it all. With a weight capacity of up to 500lb. this throne can support even the most enthusiastic playing. The double-braced tripod legs are made of heavy-duty steel to prevent wobbling or tipping, no matter how much you move around. You'll stay firmly planted on your throne through every roll, fill and crash.
All the Comforts of Home, On Stage or In the Studio
The thick padded seat lets you sit for hours in comfort. Memory foam conforms to your shape, reducing pressure points so you can focus on your playing. The height adjustment mechanism allows you to find the perfect position for your body and your kit. Once set, the memory lock will keep your throne at that ideal height for consistent comfort and ergonomics at every session.
Details That Matter
It's the little touches that make a big difference. Non-slip rubber feet prevent your throne from sliding around on any surface. A stylish silver-sparkle seat adds a bit of flash. And at just 15lb. this throne is easy to transport from the studio to the stage and back again.
Play Like Royalty
When you sit on the OCDP drum throne, you'll feel like the king or queen of your drum set. A comfortable, sturdy throne lets you focus on your playing instead of adjusting your position or worrying about tipping over. Bring your best performance to every session with the throne that will keep you comfortably in command behind the kit.

Thrones Matter
As a drummer who plays a bunch of shows, lasting around an hour per each set, I can say that the throne you sit on does matter. I used to just play on a basic throne with not much padding and I used to get incredible sore. As soon as I got this throne, with the thick padded seat, I haven't had that problem. The silver sparkle also matches my newport kit. Don't get a throne with a seat back, as it will only encourage bad posture.

Save your money..
I bought 2 of these...it's a very comfortable throne and seems pretty solid WHEN NEW. The first one developed a hairline crack on the black metal clamp the connects the rod to the base. I thought, enh just a freak thing so I bought another one but after 6 mos the same thing happened in the same spot. Now..I'm not a heavy guy (216lb) and I don't bounce around or rock back and forth on it while I play. It shouldn't happen..once it cracks, it starts to wobble. Just enough to distract you when your playing then eventually you feel like your going to lose your balance and fall...picture that while on stage. I'm gonna try to see if a buddy of mine can run a bead welding across the spot. I have had much cheaper thrones last over 10 years..I can't be the only that has had this problem with the throne.

Cracks on the clamp and causes the throne to wobble

I had this throne for about 7 months when it developed a crack on the black metal clamp that connects the spinning height adjustment to where the legs meet. Contacting support has been an absolute nightmare. They do say there is a 1 year warranty for defects, good luck using it.

Been using this product for a month, easy to assemble and for storage. I prefer hydraulic system but for a budget it's a good deal.

I use it to play guitar when practicing, bar stools don't cut it but they have their purpose. Would buy again one more thing you will need a drum key to loosen clamp as guitarist I had to hunt one down to adjust height.
Great throne!

I bought this a couple of months ago online. The first one I got was shaky and the seat didn't lock properly. I returned it to my local GC store and promptly received a new one that works perfectly.
