  • Better than CTS. My new favorite pots.

Replaced CTS pots with these in an HSS setup. For single coils, I wired a 560k resistor in parallel so that they "see" the pots as ~260k. The taper on these is better than the CTS pots they replaced and they feel smoother as well. I also really like how the stop on the threaded part of the shaft creates the perfect spacing between the bottom of the knob and the guitar body. Well worth the extra cost.

I have an original Korean PRS Tremonti SE from 2003 and one of my bridge volume pots is giving me static when turned. Is there something that I can do to the existing pot to remedy the static, or would replacement be required. The guitar has hardly been used, so perhaps it just needs some use? If replacement is necessary, is the subject Pot equivalent to the original? Thanks!

Sounds like it just needs to be cleaned. We have equivalent pots available.
