Paiste PST 3 Limited-Edition Universal Cymbal Set With Free 18" Crash 14, 16, 18 and 20 in.

Description
The Paiste PST 3 Limited-Edition Universal Cymbal Set provides drummers of all skill levels with a complete selection of professional-quality cymbals. Forged from a proprietary alloy using Swiss sound expertise and German engineering, these musical cymbals produce bright, clean tones suitable for any musical genre. Now drummers can achieve studio-quality sounds without the high cost, thanks to Paiste's commitment to value. The PST 3 set includes 14" hi-hats, 16" crash and 20" ride cymbals, as well as a free 18" crash, for a variety of timbres and accents.
Hi-Tech Production Yields Vintage-Inspired Tones
While Paiste has over 70 years of handcrafting experience, the PST 3 cymbals utilize modern manufacturing techniques to achieve a vintage sound at an affordable price. The proprietary alloy and tempering process result in cymbals with a warm, complex tone reminiscent of cymbals from Paiste's storied history. The 14" hi-hats provide crisp articulation and a balanced chick sound. The 16" crash opens with a quick, shimmering swell. And the 20" ride features a clean ping with a hint of grit, ideal for every style of drumming.
Free 18" Crash for Extra Versatility
As a special bonus, Paiste includes an 18" crash cymbal with additional warmth and fullness. With its slightly larger size, the 18" crash provides drummers more volume and sustain, allowing for more dynamic accents and crescendos. Whether used alone or in combination with the 16" crash, the free 18" cymbal significantly expands the tonal palette of this already versatile set.
Roadworthy Protection and Portability
For gigging drummers and students, the included padded cymbal bag provides durable protection and transportation for the entire PST 3 set. Multiple handles and shoulder straps make carrying the set on the way to practice or shows simple and ergonomic. Once at the venue, the cymbals can be quickly unpacked and set up, so drummers can focus on their performance rather than logistics.

Just getting back into drums, this set is a lot of BANG for your buck, great sounding, very bright, and I really like the heavy crashes. Nice bell on the ride as well.

Paiste has been manufacturing stamped (out of sheets of metal) cymbals far longer than Zildjian (ZBT series). That used to be the difference between the two companies, Zildjian used hammered ingots of metal. Paistes used to crack easily because of the stamped construction, this no longer the case. Paistes where always brighter and quicker than the Zildjians. Use nylon tipped drumsticks to get the sticking definition out of the ride included in this pack. This is the highest quality complete cymbal pack for the least amount of money. I highly recommend it and I've been playing for 33 years. ;o)

These cymbals are really nicely made and I love them. Their sound is loud and has a great ton. They are kind of heavy and they have a great, less expensive price to them. They also hold up to me hitting them really hard. I like the way they feel when you play them and how it fells to touch them. I got these cymbals as a birthday gift for my 13th birthday and I'm really thankful for these great cymbals.

I bought this pack about 7 months ago. I noticed there is some discoloration like rust on the hi hat. Suggestion for cleaning and removing this? I haven't noticed on the other cymbals.
